Aisle 21. On a Saturday Night
๐Hi there,
Thought about you at the grocery store. Aisle 21 to be exact.
Sounds crazy. But standing in front of all these options, it hit me:
This is your life (and mine) in 2024.
We have so many options. And so little time.
This never-ending aisle of tomato sauces represents:
Choosing your career. A partner. Netflix movie. What to do on a random Saturday.
(Definitely donโt spend it in Aisle 21 ๐)
So, what happens?
We stand there dreaming about the perfect sauceโฆfor the perfect dinner, for the perfectโฆ
Only to miss out on real life. You know that life, right?
Yep, itโs imperfect. Messy. Some amazing โhighsโ and tough โlows.โ
But guess what?
Itโs (way) better than putting your life on pause for some fantasy in the future.
So, the lesson from this insight?
This week, I invite you to pick a sauce. Any sauce.
And spend less time stressing and more time relaxing with a simple bowl of pasta.
๐พSoโฆ.Iโve dropped the ball
Iโve been meaning to write you. Really have.
Iโve been working on our new Swipe Less, Live More micro-challenge for young professionalsโฆ
And we are also piloting it to colleges and businesses, which is crazy exciting (and a little nerve-wrecking.)
(P.S. if you have any connections to higher-ed, Iโd love to hear it. Just reply back.)
But youโre still here. And thatโs all that matters.
So if youโve ever read one wordโฆ.
I want to thank you for being part of this journey (and community.)
Some days I am crazy confident that we will help people feel less lonely and more hopeful. Some days, I worry that I won't be able to financially sustain this long enough.
But I know that I couldnโtโand wouldnโtโdo it without you.
